If you make sure to set aside the valuable work time, also set aside time with your children and spouse and time for studying your work. Some children will need help in understanding that their parent is home to get work done, not to play with them all day. It will be hard for you to be committed if your family is not committed to your new business also. The most important part of running a home business is commitment. Knowing that your business will benefit everyone in your family, you must be committed to keeping the business afloat.

For the first year or two, it will help your business grow if you pour your heart and soul into the business. Your customers will know that your product is important and therefore the best you can offer if they see that your business is extremely important to you.
